Once completed, this storybook becomes a treasured family possession, for it holds all the best of life and love. Through publishing, the memories are now safe and can be read, re-read and shared whenever needed. By having taken the difficult SFH journey through discovery of their loss, participants are better able to express the important contributions their loved one gave to their life and be genuinely grateful for the time and gifts shared.
My Storybook Publisher and Keepsake Center
The SFH My Storybook Publisher is a web-based system for authoring, publishing and ordering beautiful hardbound storybooks and quality cards. It is completely custom, yet easy to use. There are editing tools for every level of computer user.
There are three simple steps to create a project:
- Go to publish.StorybooksForHealing.com to create a private account. All you need is an e-mail and password!
- Manage Your Photos: Upload digital photos and scanned documents from your computer to the website. You can modify them, such as remove red-eye, crop to resize, add special effects and more within the photo center. Make several albums for different projects.
- Create a New Project: Choose a book or card size. Choose a theme. Then, you arrive in your own Storybook Workroom! Here you add photos to the page, modify layouts, add text and captions. You can keep your project simple with the professionally designed themes, or you can customize by changing fonts, colors, or drag in new theme pages to change the layout as you go.
Order!
Once you’ve previewed and proofed your storybook, your order is one click away. Just complete the order and shipping information. In about two weeks, or less, you’ll be reading and sharing your storybook. Be sure to order several copies. Family and friends will want a copy, too.

Storybooks For Healing (SFH) is a program of remembrance for overcoming loss using Grief Reflection. SFH is offered by bereavement organizations in an 8 week group writing and discussion course. After the program, participants are prepared to publish a beautiful tribute storybook of their loved one, and are encouraged to join the SFH online community to share, teach and provide support to others in their grief journey.
